I don't think Walker makes an aerator. I have the latest attachment catalog and they don't show one. However, JRCO does make an aerator that fits on the Walkers. I just got their literature and it has a good picture of it. You can contact them on their website, www.jrcoinc.com , and have them send you the lit.:)

Take a look at the new aerator from Grasshopper, I'd bet it would mount easily onto the Walker. It might even do a better job. I have Walkers too but haven't got my aerator on it yet. I am thinking of putting it on one of my mowers that has hydraulic lift and leave the Walker alone.

Walker MFG does not make an aerator but Mill Creek makes aerators for the Walker. One uses the quick hitch and one doesn't. I personally tried a JRCO and its OK but I did find some problems with it. It doesn't do well on real dry or real wet turf. It picks up branches in the tines and it seems to get caught on itself if you have to back up. In the perfect conditions of moist but not wet turf it does an ok job if you aren't a coring purist. The price is on the steep side also at +1700.00 with the electric lift which is a must. The Walker attatchment for JRCO has a mounting system on the Walkers pins so the deck has to come off. You can mount it with a JRCO mounting bar on the front of the deck but the mower starts to be about 14 feet long which isn't good.
I bought a small compact tractor and will be looking for the perfect 3 pt hitch type aerator like Erics to do my plugging. Take care.

MOW ED, check out the local golf courses for an old used one, sometimes sod farms have old ones lying around too. Last year I misssed out on a pull behind one 10' wide, it went for $20 scrap price.. too late, Next sale is the 13th I'll be awake this time.

Thanks for the heads up cantoo, I will definately check out those leads. We have a bunch of golf courses and a couple of sod farms near and I never really gave it a thought.
Thanks!!

Check out this unit. It slides on the deck pins. It's 36" wide if I remember. It can be viewed at millcreekmfg.com
Good Luck,

CLC,
I have the implement hitch version from MillCreek.
PROS:
Front-mount enables you to get into nearly every nook and cranny on the landscape and eliminates need for seperate walkbehind.
Works backwards (saves time).
Easy on/off onto implement hitch.
Compact-takes up very little space on or off machine.
Mine paid for itself after 3 days.
CONS:
Implement hitch version needs implement hitch which is not cheap (but opens up a world of possibilities).
Needs plenty of weight to penetrate packed soil (~200 #).
AT tires recommended on damp turf.
Electric lift could use another 2 inches of vertical lift.
