I've had a problem with water in my fuel lately. Does anyone have a recommendation for a water/dirt dispensing product to add to my gas? I've heard they're out there, but I don't know what's good?
Thanks.

First of all I'd be changing a few procedures if I started to find water in the gas.
Is there a great quantity of water or not?
I know that heet works to dissipate some moisture but don't over do it as it an alcohol based product. I would only use it in the car since I am not sure its safe in the smaller motors, if you have a question check your engine manual.
If there is a problem with your service station then change where you get gas. If they let there tanks get too low or just have crappy practices or leaking tanks then you will get water.
The big thing that happens this time of year is that the weather is cold then warm and cold and warm. If your gas tank isn't full then there is alot of surface area inside the tank that is exposed to air, that air will condense as the gas tanks are vented so a fresh supply of humid air can get in. The warm and cold cycles make it condense on the inside of your tank just like your windows do in the house. When it condenses, ya get water.
If your lawn equipment has water in the gas, drain it and dispose of it responsibly. Then get some fresh stuff, add stabil and fill the tank to within an inch or so of the neck or as your owners manual recommends.
Good Luck

Yep, you do need to try to keep the tank full if your going to be using it. Also, you might be getting some from the gas station.

every once in a while a service station may get some water in a load. it is very rare. if that happens, cars will be parked all over the yard. once you get a small amount of water in the tank, the car will go no where. you are probabaly getting the water from somewheres else. the idea of not having a full tank may be the cause.
