Ok, this is a kind of tough question. My dealer has a trailer for sale, thing is though it doesn't belong to the dealer as a business. It belongs to the dealer's father as a person. I do tree work for the father, who currently owes me money. The money he owes me is about equal to the cost of the trailer. The trailer is either a 6.0' or a 5.5' x 18'. All it would need as far as repairs go is a new deck, (winter project) and a new ramp. The guy wants $800 for it, or around there. I paid $2300 for my 6.5' x 16'. The trailer he has, has brand new tires, fenders, sides, electric, etc. Only things it needs was like I said before. I was just thinkin that if I take the trailer as is, fix it up, and sell it off to a landscaper in the area, that I might be able to make a bit of money off of it. What do you guys think? I know that if I do get the nice deck on it and a semi descent ramp that it will be lookin really, really, nice. GVW is 7,000 lbs. What are your thoughts? The guy is gonna do the same thing I am gonna do... he bought it to sell it. He is holding it right now because I said I was interested. I already have my trailer, so my only other thought for a use for this thing would be to haul plants, and landscape materials. It's rigged for all the brakes and everything else.
