I just ordered some. Pretty good deal-100 wall calanders for 130$. I did not need that many but that was the min. Should have them out between xmas and new year.
I figure I will send the others out in jan. to potential accounts. These will be hand picked and within a couple minutes of exsisting customers.
I know I always love to get one but are far and few between these days.
So what does your calender look like? I would be interested in such a "Christmas gift" for my customers. Did you put pictures of your work on them? Give us some insight.

That's a heck of a deal for calendars. I would not need a hundred calendars but still pretty good bang for the buck. Where may I ask did you get them?

was where I found the ones I ordered.
They are about10"x19" open and have pics of scenery of america. These were the ones on special. Others were higher prices. It would be nice to have some with pics of your own accounts but I am afraid that would cost a lot. I thought about nebs because the min. was less but the price was as much as the ones I went with.
I found these guys with a google search "promotional calanders". It turned up dozens of companies.

Update on the calanders.
I got them on the 26th and mailed them on the 28th. It almost cast as much for postage as the calander. $1.03 each + 1.36 for the calander. Oh well I am sure they are appriciated. No one sends me any and are far and few between. I get one from my insurance agent if I stop by. They are not sent.
I think next year if I do it I will deliver most and talk to the customer. I will also do it earlier. Mid-November maybe. I only needed 50 so I will send some out as advertising for hand picked properties.

I sent out calenders for Christmas this year. They were desk calenders from Thayer publishing. I think I payed about the same. It was definately well worth it. I have received a lot of thank you calls for them, as well as a few tips.:D Plus My company name, phone#, and web address will be on there wall or desk all year long. Cant beat that.

You mean their not the ones with the girls in bikinis? LOL:crazy:
I think that is a great idea to send calenders. I guess I would want to hand deliver them with the cost of postage.
and by the way it is going up yet again. .37

I send a nice Holiday Letter to my customers thanking them for their business and wishing them Happy Holidays from MLC, our family and employees. For my high spending residentials and all commercials, I send a 2' tall poinsetia (sp) with a card attached that reads, "Happy Holidays from Morgan Lawn Care"
These went over big this year. They are about $20 per delivered, but considering the amount of $$ they spend with me, it is a nice token. They usually put them by the front desk where other people can see them.
