Here is the link to A. M. Leonard's website, www.amleonard.com . They have a good selection of handtools.

Has anyone tries the STIHL LINE OF HANDTOOLS? (www.stihlusa.com) They don't offer a large selection of tools but I am in the market for what they do offer and was womdering what the overall "RATING" was on these handtools. I own a STIHL CHAINSAW and love it, just hoping there handtools are just as good!

Tom - I know thier chainsaw is top-of-the-line. I can't imagine them having any less for tools. I'd also recommend checking out any Husqvarna for tools you need. They have some good power equipment. Trimmer - I get my stuff in that line from Home Depot. I know it's considered "home owner" but for the non-powered tools, I get the better ones and have never had a problem.

Tom, I had looked at their handtools and they look solid. I probably wouldn't buy some of their stuff, because it's too much money to go and get abused. I am mainly talking here about the pole saw. It looks really nice for doing only ground work, but if you climb even in the least bit I would not suggest it. That is because of the fact that those who climb sometimes tend to throw their pole saws from the trees. As far as the axes, clippers, and all that other stuff goes though it all looks quality.

My thought for other hand tools for you would be: Ames, Craftsman (lifetime guarantee), Felco, Lesco, Shemins has some really good stuff, Home cheapo. Etc. I have had good luck with products from all those places.

All of my shovels, rakes, pitch forks, and other hand tools are the RAZORBACK brands. They are the best I've found. Not over priced either. Come with wood or fiberglass handles. They can be bought at your local Home Depot. Some hardware stores also carry them. I've been using them for years without any BREAKAGE.
