Had a good experience at DC dealer the other day. Stopped by the dealer after mowing to show him the broken alternator belt cover bracket. This bracket and cover was rubbing on the seat and wore a hole. It is a '99 demo still under warranty. He said he was going to the factory in a couple days and would inquire about it. Stopped back there the owner wasn't there but one of the mechanics said that he had my bracket. When I took the mower there to leave it there the next day he said that he had me a brand new seat! WOW didn't expect that. I thought maybe a new cover. Before I got too far, they were putting my mower in to fix it so I just waited. New seat, new bracket, new riser on seat (to give seat more clearance) and I was out of there in no time. Great service :)

Service is the name of the game. Being down without help will kill us.

I would much rather pay a little bit more and get awesome service than pay less and get terrible service. It all evens out eventually. Pay more, get less down time, make money. Pay less, more down time, lose money....it's all the same, I'll take the easier one, thank you very much.

Glad to hear about your good experience with your DC dealer, Ricky. I've had nothing but good dealings with mine the few times that I've needed him. It is good to hear that there are dealers still out there that know the meaning of good service and are willing to go the extra mile for their commercial accounts.
If you stay with the same dealer, and/or mechanic they will take care of ya. I like when my mechanic fixes stuff on the spot. Sometimes, no charge. Can't beat that.

I wish my JD/Toro dealer was that good. They are real good about getting stuff fixed under warranty, but warranty or not, it always takes 7 - 10 days to get anything fixed. Loaners? Forget it!:(
