Well today was THE coldest work day we've had all year down here. I nearly froze my little gonads off too. Woke up and it looked like rain was around the corner.........but it wasn't. Got out there in the field and just knew it was gonna warm up after the clouds burned off.........but it didn't. I sure hope we don't have many of these cold days like we had last year, that's just too much on a southern boy. Had I known it was gonna be this cold then I would have worn my longhandles.

Low was 50
High was 51

Too dang cold for me!

Please don't move any futher south, we got enough people here now!!
I was thinking it is still summer here today. I did a few yards and had to cut a bunch of little branches coming through 300' of a chain link fence today sweating like it's summer time
I bet some people here would trade you for some cooler weather !!

High today: 86
Low today: 63
Still Cutting Grass!!

Out here in "sunny" California we're dipping into the 30s at night and not quite reaching 60 in the day time. Also had 3" of rain over the last month which, in my area, is high for a Nov-Dec.

It's not all gold and rainbows like you read! :biglaugh:

You're exactly right,

I knew we would miss fall weather and go from hot summer to cold winter!

Good News,

Warm frt moving in tomorrow........gonna get back into the 70's!
Also supposed to bring some rain with it, my poor ol' fescue patch needs some water.

Maybe we'll see winter in February for a month or so........be fine with me!

We had the 80's a couple weeks ago...........reminded me too much of summer............60's and 70's are just right.

Looks like it won't be a white Christmas in Alabama.:D

Early last week we were mowing a big job with ztr,s and it was 29 degrees. My helper and I both had on about 4 layers of clothing, ski caps and heavy gloves. Boy was it cold on those mowers. Since then it has been in low 40's in morning, and up to low 70's - upper 60's by mid afternoon. Today the high was 65, but tomorrow it will be only about 50 with a cold north wind. This is pretty typical for this area. :D

Homer,
With all the money you got, just go and get you a jacket. Or just move to Hawaii! :D
