Fuel tank valve problems

I am have a Dixie Chopper LX2002...I am having problems w/ the valve assembly where it goes into the tank....It is leaking from the flange/gasket running into the tank...I can't figure out how to tighten it.....The fuel filter is on top of the valve in the tank, so I'm sure there is a way to remove or tighten it....Is there a secret tool?????A secret trick????I am lost...If anyone can help.....PLEASE DO!!!!!!

pry the valve out of the grommet(make sure you drain the fuel system first) chances are you have a ripped grommet. DC part # 40220.Install grommet(use lube on grommet) then push fitting in to grommet.Hook up fuel line and check to be sure there are no leaks.good luck!
