I have a x5020 and the left side wheel won't move. There are no leaks, no bubbles in the clear line or any other visual problems. It made some high whinning sounds and then quit moving. Any clues on repair or trouble shooting would help as I could most likely fix it at home unless your experience says not too. Thanks in advance..Dave

I am just a rookie with a Dixie Chopper but an Encore mower I owned had the same problem. I just tightend the belts a little and all was fine make sure there is no slack in your belts, like I said im just a rookie I dunno for sure just make sure its not an easy fix not a big one.

You either have a bad pump or wheel motor.Your dealer has a tester he can put on your unit to check out the pump.Try jacking up the rear and turn the tire by hand.if it is hard to turn your wheel motor is probably good. You also could have a bad pump spline,or tbox spline(although highly unlikely).Good luck and let us know how you make out. :)
