DC Service,
There must be a reason why the 60" XT gets Turf Boss tires and the 72" XT gets the Field Trax. Can you share with us the reason behind this?
Thanks,
TMM

Thanks. After seeing your post on another thread, I wonder if it is due to the sizes.

IIRC, Fine Line Lawns has stated the same thing. I believe I have read opinions that the Turf Boss tires ride better. I assume that means smoother. Any other reasons you like them better? In my previous post I said I wonder if the reason is because of the sizes. I meant the tire sizes, not the mower sizes. The tire size for the 72" is listed as 26X12X12. I assume from what you posted, the Turf Boss tires are not available in that size. Come to think of it, last years 72" XTs had Turf Bosses on them. Maybe DC believes the 72" needed a little larger tire. All speculation on my part. :)
Thanks,
TMM

Seems logical though.

the turf bosses do not come in a 12" rim size. They are 25 x 12 x 9 The XT's have the 12" rubber which gives them some more ground speed due to the taller tire. I've got hd fieldtrax on all 4 of my 72" choppers and have two sets of turf bosses for sale if anyone's interested.........Lynn
