The 30 weight oil available at the local stores is "SL" . Does this classification surpass the required service classification of SF, SJ, or SH?
Thanks,

DC Service,
My XT3200-72 was delivered yesterderday and I have put 3 hours on it. What a great machine :) The oil level is down and before I add any I wanted to make sure the 30 weight oil that I have is acceptable. Thanks much for your help. :) I have many questions that are not answered in the owners manual or the Generac manual that came with the mower. Here's an easy one(hopefully): What is the charging output in amps? Is there enough to run 35 watt lawnmower lights ? The electric cooling fan no doubt uses some of the output, but without numbers, I have no way to know.
Thanks,
TMM

You have a 20 amp charging system on your 32 Generac. It will handle 35 watt
lights without a problem.Just make sure to wire it properly with a fuse or circuit breaker installed. You may also want to check with your local town officals to see if there is a noise ordinance.Good luck! :)

DC Service,
Very good! This is the information I was hoping to get. The most logical place to mount lights is on the stainless steel fuel tank covers. I sure hope there is no problem running a ground through them. If there is, it's back to the drawing board. About the noise, I am on a farm several miles from the nearest town.....no problem with that out here.... :) It is an awesome sounding engine.
Thank You,

Your choice of mounting locations is good.just make sure you support the lights good so they don't vibrate and cause the stainless to crack.(not covered under warranty)The ground should not be a problem on the fenders.Good luck! :)
