I was wandering if someone would post the oil types for my lt2000 50".
I need the oil type and especially the lube grease type. I'm due my first service and dc dealer is about 50 miles away. My dc manuals don't have any info on oil, fuel or hydro filters, so i'm kind of wingin' it.
Thanks, Scott

I have the manual that is on the web site for download, but it doesn't list anything about the type of grease or any lube points, unless i missed it. The oil type is listed and the fuel filter. Is there anything else i need to be aware of for my first service. Thanks again DC Service.

A good multipurpose (red is what I use) grease will be sufficent for your machine.Just make sure you grease all the fittings as per your manual. You can also find useful information on maintaining your machine on ELM's site.Good luck with your new Dixie Chopper! :)

DC Service, I believe that Dixie Chopper is recomending the use of "Lucus Grease", hence the wording of the sticker placed on the units, that are being shipped now. :)
