Air filter maint.

With the dry dusty conditions,I would like to remind everyone to service the air filters as per the reccommendations in your owners manual.Don't forget the cooling fins on your engine.Engines fail for 2 reasons,dirt and heat!By keeping the engine clean,and following the owners manual,your engine will last for a long time.Do not over-service the air filter(too much is not good) :)

There are some that don't get oiled and some that do, without knowing which one or what you actually have, can't answer your question.

If your air filter has a foam wrap,yes oil it.It would also be a good idea to carry a spare(pre-oiled)Foam wrap in a zip-lock bag. :)

I have seen a few that said not to oil their precleaners, so I didn't say yeah go a head....LOL
