While most of your machines have been in storage over the winter, its important to remove the shrouds from your motor and make sure there are no nests underneath them.Mice can get in there and chew on wires, and plug up the cooling fins(causing the engine to overheat) and the motor will fail prematurely.A little time spent doing maint now can save you a costly failure when you are busy and can least afford a breakdown.Your dealer can do this for you if you don't think you can handle the job.

DC Service,
I've gotten a ton of machines in already this year with a simillar problem: THEY STILL HAVE DECOMPOSING GRASS AND LEAVES ON THE DECK AND ALL OVER THE HYDRO PUMPS. These areas have to be clean as well. The heat will break down your spindle bearings and hydro systems very fast. When I was a LCO, the machines got blown off every day. I can't believe some people can keep so poor maintence of a machine that is their LIVELYHOOD :biglaugh: Sorry about the rant, just trying to save everyone some $$$. These are usually the same contractors that cry when the machine is broken. We have one or 2 guys that are so ruff on their stuff and our loaners, they are no longer allowed a loaner because of damage they have done to previous loaners!! JOHN
