What model number is a 1997 twin engine 72 inch dixie chopper? Also what is the difference between a left and right hydro pump, they look like they are interchangeable. How are they identified?

The model # is XXW4000-72. Although the pumps look the same,they are different internally.If you put a left pump on the right side it would run backwards. :)

Not trying to whip a dead horse, but what exactly is different internally on left and right hydro pumps. Is there a letter or something on the tag on the pump that will identify it as right or left? Thanks for the info. :)

Yes there is a tag on the bottom of the pump with a part # and a barcode # on it.the left pump part # is 991168005 and the right is a 991168006. :)
