Is the EABP90 the same filter as the BE-90 that came on my dixie? I have a XFG-2700 with a 26.5 generac and I have been trying to find a BE-90 to do an oil change with and can't seem to locate one on the net. I think from Amsoil's site that the EABP90 is the filter to use. Do you have another filter or oil brand that needs to be used other that the Amsoil and Lucas oil?

Thanks

I would stick with the Amsoil OEM filter.while it is expensive,it polishes your oil(it can filter cigarette smoke). While a Kohler or Generac filter remove particles down to 10 microns, the amsoil filters to 1 micron. This will absolutly double the life of your engine. The Lucas oil has been tested and is a far superior product then other oils. It's also nice to only buy 1 oil for your motor & Hyd system.Your dealer should have both the Lucas & amsoil products in stock. :)

I definitely always stick with the OEM stuff on everything I own. The EABP90 filter is an Amsoil filter. The reason I asked the question was that I can't find a BE-90 Amsoil filter anywhere. My dealer is about twice the price on that the last time I changed it and I bought it online then but can't find it now. Any further help will be appreciated.

Id stick with the amsoil filters, and Lucas oil. My dealer got me for 27 dollars a gallon for the Lucas, before I knew it was just a dino 15w40 heavy truck oil, after some shopping I found it for 11 a gallon at Summitracing.com,with free shipping.Theres no reason to change the amsoil filter very often,im still on my original from 01,and it still flows good.I change the oil in the filter at every change ,it keeps the oil much clener.

Run your unit for a couple of lawns, then touch the bottom of the Amsoil filter. If its hot,its working, but if its cold it is plugged up & needs to be changed.
