    Trailer Lights

Any quick checks for why the clearance, tail lights, all go out when you put the break on in truck. Pulled in down the road, thinking maybe the ball not grounding, but the lights stay on parked, and moving, but total black out when the truck break lights come on. No electric break control installed, so it's not that. To late tonight to get under and check it out.

You should have a ground wire in your trailer plug.It definatly sounds like a grounding problem. Make sure all your connections are clean and tight.

I have not looked at the wires, but I took the trailer to my father-in-law to use, and on the way over, they didn't black out, but not a very bright light.
I use my 9' trailer to mow with now, and the 16' is waiting on a new Dixie Chopper. I don't like to depend on the ball for a ground. When time come's, I'll put a ground to the truck with the 7 way plug. When they pulled the trailer, I asked if the electric breaks worked, they said no and they didn't have time to look into it, which may go back to the ground not being 100%.
Its seems like there is alway's something more pressing to do, and I'll end up not ready to bring home the DC when time comes, Thanks for writing back, It will help me get out there and look at it! Happy Father's Day to all,

What would this trailer be worth? Donahue, 12ton host? He's asking $3000.
