    Insurance and Warranty Question

So what are the risks/drawbacks to running my business with my truck only insured with standard coverage (full, though not commercial)? Also, I have a loan on the truck and with it I purchased a 3 year extended warranty. I just finished reading the warranty terms and they say that they have the right to cancel if I use the truck for business, commercial use, and/or snow plowing...hence why I'm kind of looking for a loophole.

    Anyway, thanks for any advice/input.

Sure you CAN run with standard insurance and you CAN lie and say its only for your personal use.

Problem is if they find out you are plowing with it they will not honor the warrenty, you should have asked about the warrenty and commercial use when you financed the truck.

Th problem with not carrying commercial insurance, is if you hit and kill someone your insurance can deny the claim, then they will sue you personally and take the business, your savings, your house, ect.

You are playing with fire my friend. You should just forget about the money you spent on the arrenty and insure it with commercial insurance.

For me commercial insurance on my f250 was actually slightly cheaper than what I had been paying. This was about 6 years ago though so I don't know if that's still the case.
