I've been running it for about 6 months now. No regrets at all, runs much better than vista on slower systems and has had very few problems for me so far. It's easily the best os MS has ever put out and it's still brand new.

Overall It just works more smoothly and quickly than vista. The task bar works different and there are lots of little tweaks and improvements here and there. There are lots of reviews that go over all the changes and improvements in detail.

Trust me, if your using xp or especially vista you will be much happier with 7.

I never really had any issues with XP.

XP was great but you have to switch eventually as support for it dies off and windows7 won't be a disappointment. I only stopped using XP about a year ago myself since Vista had finally become workable for me. Now that I'm used to win7, going back to xp would be akin to a XP user going back to windows 98se.
