Anyone using a Country ZTR Snow Blade?

I happened upon http://www.countryztr.com/index.html while looking for blades. I have a Dixie Chopper Silver Eagle and this looks interesting. I don't know anything about them and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the subject.

    Thanks.

Dixie Chopper has a snow blade for the Silver Eagle line.An aftermarket might void your warranty.

That looks interesting. The only thing I think it needs is a handle to adjust the angle.

Yeah. While I haven't actually pushed snow with mine I've had it out (moving it from one barn the the other) and it's been fine. I have some low land that pretty much stays wet in the spring and I haven't some much as had the wheels slip let alone hang up.

Dixies video shows the mower pushing snow really well. jrcoinc.com has a new plow set up with video. it shows a lazer doing really well in the snow.

That one looks cool....You can keep the deck on the mower.

Time to resurrect this old thread!
Of course, that is 'cause I just bought one of these used and am putting it on my old 60" Dixie. And with 3-6" of snow forecast I hope to have pics to show how it does/did!

Well, the Dixie does great! It can really push. The mount on my used 60" plow needs some work tho. The Dixie is more than the mount can stand! But with a little tweaking, I think this is a GO!

Well I even went to the factory and got the original style mounts, but my Dixie still wants to climb over the blade. The Dixie is waaaaay more powerful than the blade can handle at this time. Guess it's time to make up a better (hopefully) mount for my machine.

No you did not just dream of it. Here's a pic from a Dixie product brochure dated Nov. 1996.

Here are a couple pics of the Dixie snow blade that I use. I stretched and bent four springs a couple weeks ago when the blade tripped and a bolt broke. It cost $132 to replace them.

WOW! Expensive springs! Thanks for the pics. It shows Dixie's mount really well. I installed a safety chain on my Country ZTR blade for this last snow and it really helped. But I REALLY need to change that old tire for a new one! The new tire grips a lot better than the old one. I think it is because of the sharp lines on the tread of the new tire. The old tire doesn't look bad, but it sure doesn't grip like the new one!
